Cardiac Care Unit (CCU)

About the Department

The CCU has 26 beds with the possibility of one extra bed: 2 VIP rooms, 2 isolation rooms and 23 beds arranged around two nursing stations. All units are equipped with fixed monitors, three-section adjustable beds, perfusors, respiratory support and central suction, and all up-to-date medicines for cardiac patients.

Services Provided to Patients

• 1: Care of all internal medicine cardiac patients
• 2: Preparing patients for angiography and open-heart surgery
• 3: Re-admission of patients after angioplasty and open-heart surgery
• 4: Care of patients after major surgeries who have underlying heart disease (such as major orthopedic and neurosurgical operations)
• 5: Mothers requiring intensive care who have high blood pressure
• 6: Pacemaker implantation
• 7: EPS and ablation, and care of complex patients
