About the Department

The Medical Diagnostic Laboratory of Payambaran Hospital provides a range of services to clients, including clinical and pathology tests, molecular testing and genetics. The hospital's central laboratory includes the biochemistry, hematology, immunology and microbiology sections.

Services Provided to Patients

• Specialized and sub-specialized medical tests
• Molecular PCR tests including COVID, HPV, HCV and more
• First- and second-trimester screening tests
• Genetic tests in the genetic diagnostic laboratory
• Pathology tests including cytology, FNA, Pap smear (liquid-based), frozen section and IHC staining, with pathology slides reviewed and reported by the center's pathologist
• Receiving test results without the need to visit in person
